Terms and Conditions

These Terms govern your use of romanfink.com and the products and services offered by Individual Entrepreneur Roman Fink. By using this website or buying a theme, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

1. Account

1.1 To buy a theme, you create an account during checkout with your email address and a password. If you already have an account, just log in. Your themes, updates and license keys stay available in My Account.

1.2 You are responsible for keeping your account details confidential and for any activity under your account. Please let me know right away if you notice any unauthorized use.

2. Themes and the GPL license

2.1 My WordPress themes are downloadable digital products. After purchase you receive the theme ZIP file and a license key.

2.2 All themes, plugins and other products on this website are released under the GNU General Public License, version 2 or later (GPL). This covers the PHP code, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, images and all other files in the theme. Fonts, images and icons from third parties are under GPL-compatible licenses, listed in each theme’s readme.txt.

2.3 Under the GPL you may use a theme on any number of websites, change it, and share it, including your changed version, under the same license.

2.4 What you pay for is the service around the theme: updates delivered to your WordPress dashboard, downloads from your account, and support, for the period of your plan. The license key turns updates on.

3. Plans: updates and support

3.1 1 year plan: theme updates for 1 year and premium support for 1 month from the date of purchase, for 1 website.

3.2 Lifetime plan: theme updates and premium support with no time limit (for as long as I develop and sell the theme), for an unlimited number of websites.

3.3 The website limit applies to updates only. Local development sites (localhost, .local, .test) do not count toward it. To move updates to another site, deactivate the key on the old site in Appearance → License and activate it on the new one.

3.4 When a 1 year plan ends, the theme keeps working on every site where it is installed. New versions and support stop until you buy a new plan.

3.5 What support covers is described on the Support page.

4. Payments and refunds

4.1 Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle handles payment, taxes and invoices.

4.2 You can request a refund within 14 days of purchase, as described in the Refund Policy. If you have trouble downloading or activating a theme, email me first: in most cases I can fix it quickly.

5. Limitation of liability

5.1 The website, themes and services are provided “as is” and “as available”. I make no warranties, express or implied, about the reliability, availability or accuracy of the website or its content.

5.2 In no event shall Individual Entrepreneur Roman Fink be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the website or the themes.

6. Changes to these Terms

6.1 I may update these Terms. Changes are posted on this page. Your continued use of the website after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
